Does video games desensitize the generation of youth playing video games from actual violence?

No, gaming does not desensitize the generation of youth playing video games from actual violence. Based on a credible website I found, on the website, it said that gaming does not have to do with anything with kids being violent and being desensitized. Most of the violent acts from children are from their personality traits and how they think in general, not because gaming makes them to.

https://thevistavoice.com/archived/2018/05/01/gaming-and-media-does-it-desensitize-children-and-teens/

Although there has been a rise in violence in the pass couple of years, and the increasing amount of kids being exposed to violent games, one may just assume that video games are teen violence have a correlation, but in reality, they do not. People only use video games as a scape goat for all of the increase of teen violence. Teen violence can be due to many things such as social media, today's societal pressures, and easy access to weapons. Just playing a harmless games does not want to make a kid go and start being completely violent, but just allows the kid to have fun and relax.

This video has a kid clearly state how gaming is beneficial, not negative to the brain. He has many resources and gives a prominent talk about how gaming is known to be bad, but is better for a person than one may think.
