1. Earth Day in England is celebrated in many ways: 

First, a lot of people go outside to the street and demonstrate with posters and signs in a lot of cities such as:  Yeovil, Welwyn Garden City, Bristol, Gatwick, Westminster, Heathrow, Milton Keynes, Gosport and Waddington. 

Second, many volunteers go to schools and raise the awareness of the young generation about the Earth's ecology and the environment. They also plant trees in order to make a difference to the environment. They planted over 50,000 trees. In 2016 the UK had the biggest Earth Day, with over 100 volunteers helping the schools. 

Finally, there are some non-profit organizations called: ERS  (Earth Restoration Service) and Boeing that give the ERS the money for their actions. The two organizations are responsible for all the activities in the UK for Earth Days.

2. Three facts about Earth Day:
a. The Earth day began on April 22^nd 1970.
b. The idea was raised by Gaylord Nelson who thought about Earth Day after the oil spill in Santa Barbara, California.
c.  The target of the Earth Day is to educate everyone to keep the environment clean.

7. We chose Cyprus. In Cyprus there is a festival called "love the Earth". There are a lot of activities there such as: music, healthy food&drinks and activities for children about keeping our environment clean. We think that it is a good activity to bring to Israel. The Israelis like festivals with music and food, especially when the activities are good for children .

2. Interesting fucts: In the 1970 pollution and environment issues were just eccepted results of the growing economy. In 1969 horrible oil spill in Santa Barbara California gave an idea to a U.S senetor from Wisconcin the idea was to have a national teaching day to educate everyone about the environment. 
 The first earth day was in April 22nd 1970.

7 planting trees would be a good idea to do in Israel. It can help the environment by making oxygen. It can also help animals (birds, squirlls etc...) by giving them place to live.

Earth Day in San Francisco: This year’s Earth Day event in the City by the Bay celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Save the Redwoods League. The free event will feature guest speakers such as Save the Redwoods CEO Sam Hodder and Rainforest Action Network Executive Director Lindsey Allen.

In New York they celebrate the earth day by having an event where it features by doznes exhibitors, including invironmental non- profits, green buusinesses,  kid's activities, and life performances,  including volunteering to clean up parks in NYC or beaches to ensure they stay litter-free.

why it would be good activitey in Israel?
Because in Israel we are not celebrating the earth day enough. We are doing nothing for the environment on that day and its not good. We need to have a big event where people can clean certain places and learn how to save the earth like in New York.

1a. Every year on April 22nd Cyprus does a green festival called "Love the Earth" . The festival will have various workshops relating to the environment, music, healthy food & drinks, activities for children, and tables of environmentally friendly products.  

b. The festival took place in Molos park and it's really raise awareness in Cyprus.

The events are designed to raise awareness about our natural environment and how to conserve it.

b - Some of the events take place  in Terrazza del Pincio, Rome and other in Napoli. The concert take place on one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the capital.
c - A lot of artists, adults and children, the Minister of Italian Environment and the mayor of Naples Luigi de Gistanris.
d - They cleaned the streets and raised awarness about the environment. The money they raised at the Earth Day events went to establishing water wells and sending medical supplies to Kenya and Tanzania.
