Summary: Technology has changed the way of kids growing, and nowadays family doesn't have enough time to spend with their family members because of the advanced technology.
Response: Before I moved to America, my lifestyle was way better than now. I had the time enjoy the nature. In my country, we don't have advanced technology. I usually go to my friend's house or family house to sit and talk to them. In here I don't even have the time to talk to my family. My family members are near to me, but most of the time I ended up talking with them on my phone. I always feel alone and got stuck in my room. I never felt like this before in my country.

Response: I recalled my childhood consists of hanging out with my best friend after school to go to the park. There are more face to face interactions and everyday conversations. Talking to other people is a very exciting activity to spent time . As time passes, I begin to realized that younger children do not get to run around a lot or engage in a more meaningful childhood other than getting immerse in mobile devices. Having advance technology is not a bad thing, but children should be doing what children do.

1. Technology has always been around my life, but I never really use them that often. They make me procrastinate a little when I get my first iPhone in eighth grade. As I realized that playing games on my phone can influence my school work, I immediately deleted the games from my phone.
2. Back in Hong Kong, we have a computer in the living room, but I rarely use it. I remembered that my computer teacher used to call me a computer retard for not knowing how to use them efficiently. In America, I get to use technology more often from peers and from school. As I learn English little by little, I understand the importance of technology.

Response: When I was a child, my parents only allowed minimal technologies. This lead me to a mentally and physically healthy life. I agree that in early stages of life, it is important to develop through movements, relationships with others, associating with nature, and trying out new things. I feel like these days, I am too used to using technologies, browsing through websites and wasting time watching videos on youtube. Perhaps it is not only childhood that we have to be aware of but also throughout our entire life.

1: Technology actually left me good memories too. I always get nostalgic when I listen to musics or see old games I used to play.
