    Tips for parents to set up Playdates!

    1. Practice Practice Practice!
    Identity the play your child enjoys and teach him

    2.Be Social!
    Connect with other parents. As parents we can be the advocates for our children to socialize.

    3. Keep the playdates short!
    Start planning for short playdates while your child gains experience. 45 minutes!

    4.Playdates need structure!
    Remember children with autism do better in structure and familiarity places. You can invite for playdates at home and help your child facilitate that way your child will have a successful playdate.

    5.     Find a good pair match! 
    Find a child who is patient, flexible and can model appropriate age play skills.
