The scientists in the book are testing the rats like they would in the real world.
First Timothy gets sick. Second Mrs. Frisby helps a bird named Jeremy and tells him that Timothy got sick. Then Jeremy flies with Mrs. Frisby on his back to a wise owl. The owl then tells her about a group of rats that might save Timothy. Timothy has Pneumonia, and when I was little I had that to, also I had Pneumonia when I was in third grade.A short summery is: Timothy has Pneumonia and it’s almost moving day. So his mom Mrs. Frisby does so much stuff to make sure he is ok for moving day. She does stuff like visits the great wise owl, and finally go to the rats of NIMH which helps her. My connection was when I found out that the book is filled with rats, and that reminded me of when a rat (or a mouse) went into our garage and put a hole in our water slide bouncy house.

This is my short summary: Mrs. Frisby is a widowed mouse with four children. It is summertime and moving day is almost here so she will have to move her family. Though her youngest son, Timothy, has pneumonia, and he can’t be moved. Fortunately, she finds the rats of NIMH. My TTW is that in the book it says that rats are commonly used as test subjects for scientists and I’ve heard that rats are commonly used as test subjects.

In our book Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH in the beginning Timothy got very sick and was getting worse. In the middle Mrs Frisby went to see the Rats of NIMH and then goes on a mission to put the “Dragon” to sleep. It is when I saw the chapter seven dead rats. It reminded me of the time when I was walking my dog and I saw a dead rat. It made me feel so bad for the rat. That is why it made me think of that. A quick summary of the story is moving day is about to arrive and Mrs Frisby finds out that Timothy has pneumonia. So she try’s to visit doctors to see what to do. She figures out that she needs to visit these rats to move her house for her. So her and Nicoudumus meet and he is telling her the story of NIMH.
