I really like the item-bank option within Schoology Resources. It gives me the ability to create multiple questions and then pull random questions from that test bank so that students don't get the exact same test. It's also a great way to develop formative assessments that help them prepare for a larger unit test. ~Callie

Groups - it allows me to message multiple students or staff at one time!

I like that it makes grading quick and easy and takes away the piles of paper that gets easily misplaced or unorganized.

My favorite Schoology feature is the ability to recall information from the archive. I also like the absent feature as that allows me to remember if a child has a specific reason for the missing work. It also would remind me that they may need an extra day.

I like being able to archive and pull in past materials so that I don't feel like I am starting from scratch but am simply perfecting the product I put out for students. The organization capability helps me as well.

I like the ability to create assignments in one course and copy them over to the other sections.

Automatic grading of assessments is also convenient.

I love being able to individualize each of my courses by attaching a unique picture file.

I like that I can record a minilesson & upload it (easier to do with shorter videos, but Google helps attach longer videos - if student is absent, it is their responsibility to watch it.

Honestly, I like about 90+% of the whole Schoology platform. Messaging isn't great, but I don't need it to be better. Lucky me.
