 We willen met deze Teamsomgeving alle informatie en ideeën wat meer bundelen op één plaats en in tandem met de Sharepoint voor diversiteitsambtenaren. Daarnaast zullen we deze omgeving gebruiken om jullie mening te vragen en kennis te delen. Zoals jullie weten staan we aan de start van een nieuw strategisch gelijkekansen- en diversiteitsplan 2021-2025. Als dienst Diversiteitsbeleid, willen we jullie in deze boeiende periode die volgt dan ook zo goed mogelijk ondersteunen en we willen ook met deze omgeving een stap vooruit zetten in participatieve beleidsontwikkeling. 

De doelstellingen van de komende vijf jaar zijn helder en uitdagend. We willen als Vlaamse overheid een steen verleggen in een drempelloos aanwervingsbeleid, een gedragen antidiscriminatiebeleid ontwikkelen en ook de diversiteitscompetenties aanscherpen bij andere dienstverleners binnen de Vlaamse overheid. Naast dit alles is en blijft onze focus gericht op de ondersteuning die jullie als diversiteitsambtenaar nodig hebben. Jullie hebben immers de sleutel tot een goed diversiteitsbeleid zelf in handen.
