2 Step Flow is applied to Deadpool through the use of publicity stunts that Ryan Reynolds pulls and the promotion he does for the movie, influencing mass audiences towards purchasing the movie.
2 Step Flow also applies to Deadpool as critics have given the film positive and negative reviews and due to this, the readers/watchers of the review, being on radio or through a post on the internet become influenced by the certain review/critique.
This is seen in the review by Manohla Dargis with the tagline 'Deadpool' a Sardonic Supervillain on a Kill Mission. This gives readers of The New York Times a positive view on the film before they go to watch it, the review may also influence the reader's decision.
In addition to this, Ryan Reynolds who is the man behind the Deadpool mask tweeted in the role of the assassin and influenced his 12.4 Million followers to watch the film.

Passive theory, that suggests that media messages are injected into the brains of the audience such as propaganda and advertisements.
Audiences are influenced from media texts and do not question what they are being shown, it is used in advertising to influence the audience through slogans such as McDonalds' 'I'm Lovin' It' and Nike's Just Do It.
It is how easily an audience can be influenced and desensitised from the media for example, in Deadpool, he shoots people and portrays a careless attitude with no regard for violent crimes in a highway scene with armed men. This can have negative impacts on an audience as some younger audience members might attempt to do acquire a gun and end up harming someone. There are no real positive aspects to this model as all evidence suggests that a member of an audience will eventually take the fiction shown and make it a reality. The person affected by this model will then become morally ambiguous and become unable to make an ethical decision due to the desensitisation.

There are a variety of fast cuts and smooth, quick transitions to avoid interrupting the action as the scene progresses. In addition to cuts, the editors use blurring and field of view to their advantage for example, when the soldier calls off the others and the atmosphere becomes quiet and calm for a short amount of time, this is used to speed up the short scene and makes it more impactful as viewers will notice the blurring and field of view change and it will prepare them for more action. Slow motion is also used in this fight scene as it builds up the action and violence in a stronger way as the audience can take in each attack Deadpool makes, the bullets that fly by and the shrapnel.

Synchronous sound is used which aligns sounds to movements or actions for example, when Colossus gets attacked by Angel, the sound of him resisting and being pushed back with the sound of gravel being stepped on as Angel runs with him, this is used to give the audience a better feeling of the action being performed.
