1. Mirror with a Handle in the Shape of a Young Woman Holding a Papyrus Umbel. It was used by people to see their reflection. It is from the 18th dynasty (New Kingdom), and it is made of Bronze. My interpretation of the mirror is that it was supposed to encourage people to feel youthful. The papyrus umbel symbolizes youth and beauty.
2. Statue of two men and a boy that served as a domestic icon. It is made of limestone and paint, it is just over 6 inches, and it is from the 18th dynasty (New Kingdom). Some believe it represents the different generations of men in a family. In this case, a grandfather, a son, and a grandson. To me, it looks more like a mother and her children. I think its purpose was to remind people of the importance of family. I think that it is a very endearing depiction that shows the love between family members very well.
3. Razor Belonging to Hatnefer. It is from the 18th dynasty (New Kingdom), it is made of bronze or copper alloy and boxwood, and the blade is just over 3 inches. I think it was used as a weapon, and that is why Hatnefer was buried with it.
