It was fun to go through and look at the different things that can be created. As I was going through, I thought about how I could incorporate using padlet in my own classroom. My thoughts right now would be to have my students each post a short writing of interest and then have classmates respond. This will help build students word processing skills, writing skills, and digital social skills. I think it helped me to learn more about what this digital tool had to offer by having an open mind. It allowed me to let my imagination create my own page. I thought the process of creating a padlet was fairly easy. This is a process that we all should be somewhat familiar with by now. All in all, I think that this is a great digital tool to keep in our pockets.

A student is more likely to write with passion when they are writing about something that interests them. I think that we also need to use new digital tools to keep students interested in new projects. We need to allow students to blog or write social media posts. This  is writing and it teaches students word processing. Not all students learn the same. Having a diversified class forces us to think of new ways to teach writing instruction. I liked the idea in the book, where the teacher had all of the students create a teen magazine. Every student in the class was involved and all students had to work together or the magazine would fail. We figure out how our students learn best and  we adjust our teaching to fit the students needs.]]> 2018-03-13 18:42:02 UTC https://padlet.com/skaltenbrun01/cprafm8t7gg9/wish/241572908 skaltenbrun01 https://padlet.com/skaltenbrun01/cprafm8t7gg9/wish/241577139 This reading challenged me think think of different ways to involve my students.  I thought about different ways and digital tools that I would be able to use to engage and peak the interest of my students.  I think that it is important to remember that our students interests are important.  Allowing students to write about things that they are interested in is more than likely going to get you a higher quality paper or work from the student.
