In my thriller opening i represented my victim as innocent and vulnerable this notion is depicted through stereotypes of blonde haired blue eyed people which fits the role as it enables Tina to seem somewhat naive .

Through the costumes i emphasized Tina's personality, I dressed Tina in a short pink dress, pink being a colour which signified sweet, playful, cute, feminine and tenderness connotations which made Tina look more as a victim. The colour pink is know to be a very childish colour which shows she is easily manipulated ,The short aspect of this dress makes Tina look more of a target as she is dressed in desirable clothing.

The framing used is a portrait of Tina exaggerating her facial features putting more attention on her innocent blue eyes and blonde hair. The lighting highlights one side of her face, the other half is shadowed, this lighting shows there are two sides to her.The lighting illustrates a "don't be fooled by someones appearance " notion.

Our representation of Tina's age group varies in each character however they all inherit similar characteristics such as emotional. ,Independent and risk taking which conforms to the conventions of the thriller genre as it creates suspense and excitement for the audience.

Tina's ethnicity is white British, this representation can be interpreted in a way in which she comes from a middle class background which means she is wealthy ,Tina has the ability to get money which she uses on illegal substances, material and partying.

I used a real life news story about a 16 year old girl which ha died after in-taking an ecstasy tablet at a house party.A common representation of teenagers in the media is pointed out in a negative light under the media yet we fail to acknowledge their actions they make is due to their age making them easily manipulated

I have conformed to stereotypes because our film is mainstream so our characters can relate to the audience allowing people to feel as if they can relate to what is going on allowing the audience to be sympathetic towards my opening as well as creating awareness. I have used stereotypical representations because my audience research told me that my audience pretty much all have the same interests for example they all use social media from this information i gathered i found out that teenagers watch things that intrigue their day to day life which was the reason why stereotyping people was important.
I think i was successful because i used subtle media techniques to get my point across.
