I am currently enrolled in the PLNU Masters in Higher Education with an emphasis in Counseling.

I am currently working toward completing my master's program.

My career goals include becoming a community college/ EOP counselor. I wish to assist students with academic, financial and personal concerns. I currently work as a case coordinator for a non-profit that helps homeless veterans.

My family, including myself, are all first generation Puerto Rican. My entire family moved from Puerto Rico to the U.S. roughly 25 years ago. Cooking Puerto Rican food and practicing Spanish is a vital part of our culture.

1. If I could live anywhere in the world I would live in Puerto Rico. The lifestyle is much slower, there is always good weather and the beaches are beautiful.

2. My motivation to work hard is to make myself and my family proud. I know that my family is proud of my current accomplishments and continue to support me with my personal endeavors. In addition, I feel it would be a disservice to myself to not give my best effort in everything I do.

3. My favorite aspect of my career is building relationships with my clients and providing them with resources that will assist them financial. Homeless veterans are a very sensitive population and I really enjoy being someone they can count on.

4. The last movie I saw in the theatres was the wild robot. It was a great movie and very wholesome.

5. In the evening, I would prefer to visit a relative. I love spending time with family and I always have a fun time when we catch up over dinner. We always have endless jokes and things to talk about.
