Tanzanian teachers, students’ and educational stakeholders benefit from the OER by getting all the forms of educating materials which are free and accessible in the internet, those materials include free full online courses,  the learning course materials, textbooks, streaming videos modules, free tests and exams, free software, and more tools, materials or techniques used to support and access to knowledge. However, it is only less than 5% of the teachers who access the online free educational resources.

ADVANTAGES OF OER 

Teachers from Tanzania use the OER for broadening their students’ knowledge with a less cost, if OER were food then the teachers who are able to access the online materials and the free OER will automatically feed their students with knowledge that is more current and accurate as the knowledge and skills is like food the teacher who feed less cause malnutrition to their leaners that is the teacher who will teach their leaners without major explore on the material their leaners will get less knowledge and skills. 

The teachers’ access and permission to use the OER materials by editing and modifying the language and content so that it can suit the students demand and expectation create a well-informed students who are able to solve their daily challenges in and out of the class. Job seekers, teachers and students can benefit by joining the right programs that give a specific knowledge they are I demand. For example my students who finished an engineering school can do a free online class to keep on sharpening their knowledge while they are searching for job.  

OER support students to reach out to their educational institutions, the bond between faculty members and students lead to a collaboration among them no matter the boundaries of the countries or place of origin (Kopp et al., 2017). A student in china can graduate from the university in South Africa without reaching there. Leaners can get the best education with an expected quality in less cost, OER programs like Massive Open Online Course MOOC help the leaners meet their educational objective in low cost and less time. 

Another major importance of OER was stresses by (de Carvalho et al., 2016) when they explained about the number of beneficiaries’. An OER course offered in by a single teacher in Indiana University in America can reach a million students all over the world with the same quality and accuracy. In this aspect the future of OER will be free leaning without classes and less teacher supervision. The spread of COVID 19 pushed the use of OER and it will make great changes in the near future regarding the use of internet for learning.   

THE FUTURE OF OER.

The future of the OER is bright, the eruption of COVID -19 pandemic influence its massive growth within a short time, in future the face to face leaning will be reduced to the minimum, and learning will be online. University students will be able to graduate without having a face to face meeting with their lecturers (Krelja Kurelović, 2018). On compass university will turn in to a distance learning. People will get their degrees from their working offices. 

Government needs to invest on the OER this will create an opportunity for employing few teachers who will teach many students and maintain the quality. A good example is shown in Palestine where their Ministry of Education and Higher Education lounged the OER for students where they can get the knowledge and skills easily. The colleges and universities adopted this method because of frequent war and security therefore leaners will keep on getting the intended knowledge and skills without endangered their life in school.
