         <description><![CDATA[<div>When we are explicit about language and how authors choose specific words for a reason, we help students open an internal dialogue with the author.  It's easy to miss that lower grades or ELD students may not realize that an author will use pronouns and other words to describe the same thing.  It's hard to understand a text if we don't realize who/what an author is referring to.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
