In my opinion I am multi-local. 
I grow up in Shunde, and I know where I can get my favorite milk tea in the fastest way. I can chat with my friends by making them a phone call, and decide when we can meet next time. My family members are all here, and they will support me whenever I need.

However, my mom is from Jiangsu, and I always  write about this impressive and breathtaking place in my articles. I told others I was from that place when I was still young, but seriously I canā€™t even understand and speak their local language or name out some of their famous dishes. But I am so familiar with Jiangsu as I have written so many times about the foggy spring and drowsy showers.

Someone said hometown is somewhere you will dream about when you are somewhere else. I never dream about Jiangsu though Shunde always appears in my dream and makes me feel I am home.

Moreover, there are more and more collisions and interactions between cultures, which promote cultural diversity. Furthermore, the spreading of technology and knowledge becomes easier, people can get information and wisdom easier.
On the other hand, globalization has negative effects on society. More inequalities and financial problems happen in society with chain reactions, for example, the economic crisis in 2008 affected the whole world. Besides, the interpenetration of strong culture usually breaks the weaker one, which causes the elimination of cultures.
