         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.<br>- Explanation: Congress cannot make any laws that makes a national religion, they things that citizens can say or write about and publish, the right for people to come together and meet (protest), and to make petitions for or against a cause. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- No person shall be held to answer for a capital or otherwise infamous crime unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use without just compensation.<br>- Explanation: No one can be put on trial for a capital crime until a grand jury decided that it is needed. The exception to this is when it is military related or when we are in a time of war. Also, no one can be put on trial again if the first time they went to trial they were found not guilty. In the trial, they cannot force the accused to testify against themselves and their property cannot be taken from them unless they are compensated for it.  </div>]]></description>

         <title>6th Amendment</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor; and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.<br>- Explanation: When being prosecuted, the accused has the right to a quick trial so they will not spend a long time waiting for their trial in jail. The jury has to be unbiased towards the situation and is from the state/ district that the crime was committed. The accused has the right to know why they are being arrested and put on trial. They people arrested has the right to an attorney and to people who can help prove them innocent. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury shall be otherwise reexamined in any court of the United States than according to the rules of the common law.<br>- Explanation: You cannot take someone to court over the value of something unless the amount is over $20. All courts must be recognized by the United States government, according to the common law. </div>]]></description>
