Useless pencil stubs are scattered  everywhere. Dust covers the inside, and old pieces of pink bubblegum are stuck on the bottom.  The odorous, algae filled water bottle barely stands upright. The legs of the desk are almost rotten through, and termites swarm them. The desktop creaked, as if trying to tell of its plight to the rats that scurried around the legs.
