This multi-genre project has to do with Romeo and Juliet, a play about two star-crossed lovers who come from feuding families. In the play, Romeo and Juliet have to keep their relationship a secret due to their complicated family situation. They both love each other very deeply and will do anything to stay together. Juliet plans to fake her death to run away with her new husband Romeo and miscommunication leads to their deaths. The message this creates is how love has its consequences.

If Romeo and Juliet told their families their news there would be a huge wedding or party to celebrate because their parents loved them. This is shown when the parents agree to build golden statues for Romeo and Juliet. Romeo's father says, "For I will raise her statue in pure gold,"(Rom.5.3.299). Juliet's father then says, "As rich shall Romeo's by his lady's lie- Poor sacrifices of our enmity,"(Rom.5.3.303-304). They honored their love when they died, so surely if they were alive they would have had a beautiful wedding.

Romeo killed Tybalt because he killed his best friend, Mercutio. Romeo tries to avoid the fight because he married Juliet who is Tybalt's cousin. However, Tybalt is unaware of their marriage because they kept it a secret and got married so quickly. Romeo states, "And so, good Capulet, which name I tender/ As dearly as my own," (Rom.3.1.66-67). This shows how Romeo refused to fight because he loved Juliet and is her husband now and family to Tybalt.

This Therapist note is for Juliet because she is really struggling with Romeo being exiled and her cousins death. In the play Juliet says "Is there no pity sitting in the clouds that sees to the bottom of my grief"(Rom.3.5 97-98), this specific quote really shows how much Juliet is struggling because she loves Romeo so much but he's leaving. Juliet would also benefit from therapy because she hs trouble with her parents because she loves Romeo, but she can't stop. This also proves that the overall theme of Romeo and Juliet is that love has consiquences.

Juliet's Playlist if she didn't kill herself and had to live life without Romeo. This playlist is very sad and shows the impact and consequences of their love on Juliet. Juliet says, " 'Romeo is banished'- to speak that word/ is father, mother, Tybalt, Romeo, Juliet,/ All slain, all dead,"(Rom.3.3.122-124). Here she is comparing Romeo being banished to everyone dying. If she lived after Romeo actually died she would be sad like this playlist.

Romeo and Juliets love was so strong and it made such an impact on Verona, but they ended up dead because of it. The Prince sates "Capulet, Montague, see what a scourge is laid upon your hate."(Rom. 4.5 291-292). The Prince says this because he wants the funding families to take blame for Romeo and Juliets death, because if there families didn't try to tear them apart they wouldn't feel the need to kill themselves in order to be together. This also supports the theme of the book that love has consequences because Romeo and Juliet died over love.

Friar Laurence says, "For this alliance may so happy prove/ To turn your households' rancor to pure love," (Rom.2.3.91-92). This shows how he believed their love would have the consequence of uniting their families.

During Romeo and Juliet's time there was no phones or texting but if there was I think this is how there conversation would go. There was a lot of miscomunication in Romeo and Juliet and I think they would have defiantly benefited from text. The text says "That letter was not nice but of full charge, of dear import, and the neglecting it, may do much danger"(Rom. 2.4 28-30). Friar Lawrance says this to Friar John when John tells him that he was unable to deliver the important letter to Romeo. This is a perfect example of how texting would've benefited them because it would be so much easier if Friar Lawrance could've just texted Romeo and told him the plan. This also proves the overall theme that love has consequences because there relationship was causing the Friar stress.

This article is about why Romeo and Juliet is still an important part of literature today, even though it was written 300 years ago, the play is still very relevant. The play says things like "And if we meet we shall not scape a brawl, For now these hot days, is the mad blood stirring"(Rom.1.3 3-4). This language shows how old the play was written because nobody talks like that today. It also proves how brilliant Shakespeare was because he said everything in a confusing way that makes you really think about what he's saying. It also supports the theme of Romeo and Juliet that love has consequences because the whole play Shakespeare throws big challenges at Romeo and Juliet to make the audience think about how there love is causing them pain.
