He only approves rock and rap music when he feels unstoppable and relentless when fighting for his love of Juliet and passionate about his hatred for the other Capulets. Sometimes he feels sad because so much death is happening, but his songs are 99% about love.

Juliet Capulet is a young teenager, who has fallen in love with handsome Romeo. She's stubborn in her love for Romeo, but also very bold and brave. This makes her playlist very much like the genre pop, because everyone strives to be independent, yet desperate for love by listening to artists that give off that energy for them. She listens to artists such as Taylor Swift, because she is passionately in love with Romeo and obsessed with him, but also listens to Olivia Rodrigo and Tate McRae because she's independent and extremely bold. She also listens to Sabrina Carpenter because she's still young and a teenager, who still wants to enjoy herself and have fun. This relates to the theme of the play because her mother is quite selfish for both Juliet and her. In the play, Lady Capulet says, "'Talk not to me, for I'll not speak a word, Do as thou wilt, for I have done with thee.'" This shows how selfish she is because Lady Capulet only cares about herself in this scene. But, she can't really help that because her family happens to be pretty rich for the common family. Juliet is influenced by her rich and selfish family, and she listens to whatever everyone else is listening to, or more specifically, whatever white girls are listening to.

The Shakespearean play is a story that can be interpreted in multiple different ways. It begins with family conflict, love at first sight, and more. But the most prominent development is the influence on children from the two households' conflict towards each other. Children look up to their parents in almost everything, regardless of age. If a parent believes in one thing, the children automatically believe in that one thing as well. If a parent does another thing, the children will follow. This means that parents' actions can deeply influence their children. His Capulet family influenced Tybalt that the Montagues are malicious and deceptive. But Romeo murdered Tybalt, and now lies in the Capulet family grave. This heavily impacted the family but still did not change the conflict.

Romeo Montague is wanted for Tybalt's murder on the streets of Verona. Tybalt's murder caused lots of depression in the entire Capulet family and also caused more anger between the two households. His parents' hatred so influenced Romeo, he killed Tybalt. After the Prince finds out about the murder of Tybalt by Romeo, he ends up banishing him out of Verona because he can't take any more deaths between the Montagues and Capulets and no disturbance in the streets. Romeo is then even more hated by the Capulets, and this causes Juliet to fake her death to run away with Romeo which did not work out in the end. Because of the hatred between the two households, Romeo is banished and this text shows it, A gentler judgment vanished from his lips: Not body’s death, but body’s banishment."

Juliet would like this book because she is a rational, young woman, and this book focuses on logic and a little bit of psychology, which she would love. She is down to earth and thinks it is logical, for example, to think her parents are wise for choosing to stay away from the enemy family (the Montagues). Although it seems like she chooses passion over reason, and is passionate that it is right to hate the Montagues.
In this book, the main idea focuses on self-sabotage, and the goal : to transform it into self-mastery. This relates to Juliet because she has personality traits, such as impulsiveness, defiance, reliance, and idealism. These self-sabotaging traits that she has can be turned into something to have a more positive outcome. Impulsiveness to marry Romeo so quickly, and not think of the potential consequences can be reconstructed into thoughtfulness, and think through her decisions carefully to avoid rash outcomes and help make deliberate decisions instead. Defiance can be turned into constructive rebellion and good communication. Reliance on others can be turned into self-reliance and help her be more confident in her judgment. Finally, idealism can be turned into realism, where Juliet does not idealize her relationship with Romeo, thinking love can beat all obstacles, but realize a safer way they can be together that doesn't involve deceit and anger.
This book would be very significant to Juliet because she could relate. It teaches how parenting style affects adolescent behavior and personality development. There is significant parental influence on Juliet which has ideas of control, individual vs societal expectations, and consequences of lack of understanding and communication between family members.

Romeo grew up listening to his parents, but hated the family feud. He said the feud was as miserable as his love. A quote for this is "O brawling love, O loving hate" (1.1.169). He had to stand his ground, though as he was respectful to his family.

Even if he didn't interact with his parents much (or felt comfortable talking to them), he thought the least he could do was make his license plate honorable to his relatives.
