Montserrat, located 39 kilometers northwest of Barcelona, is a mountain range known for its unique, needle-like peaks shaped by centuries of erosion. The highest peak, Sant Jeroni, reaches 1,236 meters. It is an important symbol of Catalan identity and a place where many visit for reflection and a deeper connection to their faith.
