It was the first time I had ever taken a flight anywhere and it made me want to move to the U.S.. I think the most turbulent it was was the first year in this country. I didn’t have many friends, didn’t understand the language, didn’t have my family. It felts very lonely and it really destroy my self esteem and ego. -My friendship with my cousin who was my same age and was practically a sister to me. It showed me what love and missing somebody really felt like and it shaped me to be more caring all around.
-My parents who were my only friends from the moment I got here and have supported me and loved me forever and always think of what’s best for me.
-My first love and boyfriend who has showed me that relationships aren’t what they are in the movies. That they require patience and time and putting your own emotions aside every now and then for the greater good.
