In her busiy schedule she forgot the car was left in the street. They could have stickered, knock on the door, put a note on the car or even ignored the one-time infraction. They towed her car which then cost her to be late for work, miss hours of pay and then pay for towing and storage fee. This is alot for a student trying to pay for student loans and make grades. Towing was retalitory, not remidial.
