Luxor is located 420 miles south of Cairo, in Upper Egypt.
It is tastefully monumental in decoration
The surroundings near Luxor are consisted of barren, rubble-strewn desserts.
The vast necropolis contains the remains of 62 Pharaohs of the New Kingdom.
And was discovered in 1893 where only 40 tombs have been recovered.
The walls of the necropolis are covered in well preserved rich paintings and complex inscriptions.
