The game breaks this stereotype by quizzing boys on their knowledge of things such as pop culture and make up etc. The stereotypes were not really valid because most of the questions were answered correctly proving that boys and girls can know about the other gender's interests.

The stereotypes that the game that we played enforces are that the different sexes are able to answer questions that are more geared toward "their gender" because the things that the different genders do and the way that they behave is a little different. This game breaks that the different genders are completely ignorant of the other's hobbies and isn't able to answer any of the questions. 2. I think that the stereotypes that the game enforces are slightly true because there are some things that boys couldn't answer and vice versa but it's not completely true.

Lillian Allen: This game enforces the gender roles embedded within our society as it categorizes seemingly non binary things as purely “feminine” topics or purely “masculine” topics. However, it also breaks those stereotypes as it proves women know about the traditionally male topics just as much as men do and vice-versa. The stereotypes were somewhat valid to me as it is common for more males to watch and indulge in sports than women. Although it was invalid in that it made it seem that only men watched horror films or things of a more violent nature when that is clearly not the case as the girls team was able to answer a majority ofsaid variety of questions.

I also agree with Brady when he says that the stereotypes are slightly true, and that some questions couldn't be answered for both genders. This was very true as the girls couldnt answer the horror movie question, while the boys couldn't answer the birthstone question, which can be seen as really easy for the opposite gender.

The game asked boys questions about things that typically pertained to girls and the girls were asked questions that usually pertained to boys. However, both teams did very well thus meaning that the game broke the stereotype that girls and boys know nothing about each other. 2.) The questions asked did seem valid for both genders. Questions regarding movies or actors can pertained to both girls and boys and typically everyone knew the answer. Same went for celebrity questions as well.
