Topic: Green House Gas emissions

This article is about how Obama's Clean Power Plan is going to be removed. This was a result of a Trump Executive Order that ordered for the review of this plan. He questioned the Legality of the Plan. The EPA has yet to say whether or not they will make another Plan that will follow the Laws in the US. The plan required states to follow a simple carbon emissions rate which was deemed unconstitutional after the review of President Trump. While this Plan was in effect though, it saved lots of lives and asthma attacks. As said by a professor from Harvard, he states that due to the review of the bill by President Trump, it will cut short many lives due to our rate of Green house Gasses in the atmosphere.

Topic: Mining

This Article says that the President in Australia is trying to start up a Coal Mine in Australia in a rather secluded area. This is in major contrast to currently what the world believes. The world believes in renewable resources now and trying to use them rather than coal and other non renewable resources. It also dives into how this could big project could generate lots of jobs but there is a problem with this. The problem is that this major would kill all of the other mining projects in the surrounding area thus making lots of people lose their jobs.

Topic: Water Pollution

This Article talks about how humans can have a affect on the water and the different ecosystems involved in the water. It also talks about how things such as construction sites, or farms can cause runoffs thus causes the water to be very polluted. Another very harmful factor that water has to deal with is the waste dumping from major factories. They have dumped heavy metal and toxins into the water and thus making it very unhealthy for plants and mammals to live in the water.

Topic: Volcanoes impacting the climate

This article is about how if a catastrophic eruption were to occur then it would definitely change the climate of the earth fr that year. It would not have the energy to be able to change the earths climate forever as climate would regulate after a blast like in 1815 when a volcano erupted and happened to change the climate for that year. When a volcano in Europe erupted it changed the climate in that year as they had one of the coldest winters recorded ever. This was due to the amount of sulfur dioxide that had been released into the air from the volcano. The scientist discovered that if a eruption like the one in Europe were to happen again the a large portion of the earth's land area would be covered in snow like in Europe during that same winter.

Topic: Deforestation

Basically what this article says is that deforestation is extremely harmful to the environment and other ecosystems around them. For instance, this would lead to lots of extinct animals and plants due to the fact that the trees are a major part of a mammals ecosystem. This also impacts the amount of carbon currently in the earth's atmosphere. If we continue to cut down trees, our planet will continue to heat up.

Topic: Global Warming

In Greenland, the glacier is becoming smaller and smaller. According to the article, the earth around green land has risen about 60 degrees which is terrible if you are trying to keep a ice sheet from melting. This is a very important issue due to the fact that if the earth continues to warm up then all the glaciers or ice sheets might melt causing a major rise in sea level and a lose of a lot of drinking water.

They say that the total mount of oil that is on the earth is around 1688 billion barrels of oil that is absolutely absurd as by 2055 the article says that we will use about have that amount which could cripple the planet. It also states that by 2035 the emissions will almost double as the amount of oil increases as a result.

Topic: Agriculture

The article states that climate change could change the way that we create food and ultimately eat food. They say that three key components could affect the way we eat: Location, food quantity, and food quality. The Location of everything matter. They way we eat may now depended on where the food comes from. Next the quality of the food is going to matter as we cant eat something that is not good enough for us to eat. Finally, the amount of food could be effected by the way that climate is changing.
