Since an early age of 4 Lev would watch his uncle play guitar and get fascinated by it. At the of 8 after his parents divorce he moved to Moscow and went to a music school that was conveniently located near his house at the same time studying in a normal elementary and then secondary school. Unfortunately, due to numerous activities his passion for music decreased and he dropped out of the music school in grade 4. However, due to his mother’s job the family had to move to Bahrain a small country in Middle East, there he went to a music school and decided to continue his music studies once again. Lev throughout his music studies got essential knowledge in Music Theory, Music Literature, Classical Guitar, Piano and Choir. Those were helping out at Bukit Timmah community centre, organising a field trip for kids from a secondary school to Lasalle, but out of the many options, I chose to help out with the set up and be the stage and RF tech for the New Years show at a Singapore neighbourhood in Boon Lay.

The event was organised by Adventurous pte. ltd. They kindly decided to organise the event for free as the owner of the company is a resident of Boon Lay. The event was held on the 31st of December and started at about 2pm and went all the way into the countdown. In total there were about 30 crew members that were split into 2 categories - Sound and Lights. There were about 15 of us in the sound departement. I believe that it was a very usefull event for me as I am going into NS in August and about to become a Singapore citizen. Hence, this event got me to understand the Singapore culture and Singaporeans better. I would tell them to take more time behind the stage and practice the parts that they arent very good at better as well as guide into how to hold the microphones and how to position them on stage. Overall there were more that 20 performances including neighbourhood dance group of pensioners, an indian cultural dance group, a malay martial arts presenters, hip-hop dancers, indian kids performing a national dance, chinese pop trio, and many more.
