Last week my daughter Andrea noticed that one of her collegues was lonley. He said he hadn't had a home cooked meal in a long time, and rarely cooks for himself as he is all alone, with his son living in Ohio. Andrea made vegetable soup last week. She went home and got a canning jar and filled it with her soup. She wrote a note attached to the jar that said. I always make a big pot of soup on the weekend, maybe you might like some. I understand if it's not to your liking, Andrea. He responded to her on a private facebook message and said that is one the kindest things that someone has done for him in a long time. She made chicken soup on Sunday. Guess who's getting another jar of soup!!!
