The Remix Culture is something that has been significantly growing over the years. More and more artist seem to jump on the band wagon and remix other people's songs. In 2017 we saw it with Justin Bieber's remix of Luis Fonsi's Despacito. Though the original song was great, the Justin's remix added something extra. However, when preforming live, he could not reach the same amount of justice the studio version did. When it comes to remixes, I believe a lot of people just jump into the bandwagon of what is popular in the pop-culture, and this seems to be one of the ways they do it. I believe remixes are good when it comes to an individuals interpretation of the song, sometimes it can even reincarnate, if you will, a song; give it new meaning. One song that gets remixed/covered a lot seems to be Every Breath You Take by The Police, and in every different version of it, the song is given new meaning. The original song gives stalker vibes, but different interpretations of it make it sound like a ballad. The Remix culture is intended to find meaning in the words that are already written; in the lyrics already sung.
