Visit of the research team of the Marine Protection Institute "Archipelagos" today, Monday November 18, 2024, to our school. The Archipelagos team, with a 25-member representation, is on our island for a mission aimed at protecting the island's unique marine biodiversity.The research team is made up of marine scientists and researchers of many specialties from many regions of the world. This visit is the result of a significant collection of funds by citizens and their organization by the non-profit foundation Lemnos Marine Conservation.Second grade students, who implement the eTwinning Environmental STEMgineers project, met with the scientists and were informed about the very important issue of protecting the marine ecosystem.

I am very glad to be here with all of you tonight. My name is Zoe and I'm special education teacher. I am working at school Moudros. It's my first time to be part of the etwinning team.

I promote inclusive education helping students to face their own difficulties with more efficient way. I am next to them to give support, boost their self esteem & confidence and try to learn how to express their own ideas and feelings.
