This platform allows your podcast listeners to record a voice message and send it directly to the podcaster without needing a phone number.  I thought it was a different and personal method that allows the audience to engage with the brand that doesn't involve the traditional "comment, like, or share. " </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Deepseek, a Chinese-developed AI platform, challenges US-made AI systems. Deepseek is a Chinese-based AI system that was developed for a mere fraction of the cost of some US companies that have invested in R&amp;D for their AI platforms. Deepseek does not use the latest chips or software, rather it was developed off of older chips out of software requirements. Deepseek has also been shown to be more energy efficient than the US based main competitor, OpenAI. Deepseek is an open sourced program, meaning that anyone can take the software, tweak it to their desire and produce their own AI model. While Deepseek has shocked the world at the efficiency, cost to produce, as well as its quality of reasoning and conversationalism in version R1, it does not stand up to par with OpenAI's latest AI model, GPT-4o. </p>]]></description>

I recently became one of the many "tiktok refugees" jumping to the Chinese app Rednote, and it has been a wonderful, refreshing experience. It reminds me of social media before the influx of advertisements. I have learned new things about Chinese culture, like the Chinese New Year, traditional Chinese medicine, and Chinese lifestyles.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Although Richard has already introduced DeepSeek, I would like to share my own experience using this newly launched AI, which became available just a while ago. DeepSeek is similar to ChatGPT, but I’ve noticed some differences in its performance.</p><ol><li><p>I have tested the R1 Model (The deep think model) by giving it math and coding questions. It provided accurate answers with well-structured steps, which I found impressive. However, I could not access it without using a VPN, which significantly slowed down the response time. If anyone has a more efficient way to use the R1 model, I would love to hear your suggestions.</p></li><li><p>I ask it to complete the same tasks in both Chinese and English separately. I noticed that DeepSeek performed better in Chinese, which makes sense given since it is developed in China. Similarly, ChatGPT tends to generate better responses in English. </p></li><li><p>I also attempted to use the Web Search function, but haven’t been able to get it working yet. I’m still exploring how it functions and would appreciate any insights from those who have successfully used it.</p></li></ol><p><br/></p><p>I look forward to sharing more insights as I continue testing DeepSeek. If anyone else has experiences with it, I’d love to hear your thoughts!</p>]]></description>

Allowing people to add to necessary scientific research adds data for scientists to use that can help determine where a species can be found, if its habitat is shifting, and how the species might physically change over time (mutations).</p>]]></description>

You can generate AI videos from prompts and create scripts from a prompt. This program sets itself apart by allowing AI to adapt longer videos to more appropriate short-length videos for social media apps like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube shorts. In addition, the AI can translate your speech into any language, including subtitles and even the text on the screen. What I found most interesting about this program is how it can convert documents into videos and provide an AI avatar to talk about the document's highlights. This program will also use your PowerPoint and create a video with an AI avatar to talk about the presentation for you, reading off the slides and including presenter notes. I found this final feature to be an excellent tool for those who want to create digital lessons rapidly without recording videos of themselves. </p>]]></description>

It can do MOST of what chat got can do and seems to be geared more towards research and Q and A. The only thing I have found that it cannot do is edit video, unlike chat GPT. The highlight of its model is Deep Thinking where it seems to be on par with chat GPT, showing itself to be a true competitor. A question that arose while playing with Grok and chatGPT is, will there ever come a time when AI produces answers too fast that would make you think the answers were immediately false or faulty? How long of a pause in between gathering an answer and giving it to you makes you feel like it will produce a factual answer? </p>]]></description>

Globe Explorer generates visuals to explain and "explore" topics of interest in a cute retro looking platform. My search query resulted in five main learning theory categories of Behaviorism, Cognitivism, Constructivism, Humanism, and Connectivism, breaking each one down into subtopics with visuals for each topic. Such a cool way to get a quick overview of a topic!</p>]]></description>
