story title：The Choice 
 
I still remember the day we laghed together, we played together, we hanged out together... However, the things were still here, but the man were no more smae ones. Just because of my timid, reckless.I lost him--my best friend who used to be -- Alex 
 
It happened two years ago, The things still remained fresh in my memory. I used to be a undercover officer (UC) of Regional Crime Unit in West Kowloon.I were sent to be a undercover in a gang called "Qing Mu Tang".It's tough to be a undercover.Everyday i need to work with those gangster.We eat together, we sell drug together, we kill those enemy together.Every time i stay with them. I need to warn myself that I'm a police officer. I can't kill people , I can't sell the drug either. Some time when i'm staying with them, I can't wanr myself because I put myself in  the character too much. Some time i can't remember I'm a cop. I cryed when I'm alone. I feel hopeless and helpless when I'm alone. However, i keep remind myself i need to complete my job and return to be a normal police. 
 
Although its tough to be a UC in a gang. I still make some friends, not all of them were evil. I met my best friend on a meeting of gang. His name is Alex, he were also a UC of CID. Since that meeting, we always hanged out together, we would sharing our feeling together. No matter what happened, we won't leave or betray each other. That's what I used to thought, Until that day come, every things changed. 
 
I still remember that day, 4th March,2017. It's a rainy day. I went to a drug duel with Alex and my Boss. When we arrive location, we wait for the dealer. We were in a car park, the weather were turning wrose, "sa...sa...sa..." the rain went heavily. The sky were covered by black cloud. it's as black as my mood on that day. "I have a bad feeling about this." I said quietly to Alex. "It's ok Leon, after this duel, we will have enough evidence to charge them. We can finally go back to be a officer." Suddenly, my boss' phone ring. He picked up the phone and talked with someone. After the call, my boss turned to us with a pistol. He pointed to me with a pistol and said “The dealer won’t come, he found out that our deal were exposed by a UC from the police, Leon, I only told you and Alex about this deal, either you were the UC or alex were, Leon, I know you have worked for me about 10 years, I trusted in you, you make the choice” the boss gave me the pistol and let me made the choice. 

 

The air is still and I freezed right behind Alex. What should I do? He was my best friend in these day. Moreover I can’t kill a cop that work for justice. What should I do! I picked up the pistol and pointed to Alex. Alex’s body were shaking just like my hand. “it must be something wrong, boss! How could I betray you! I...I...I am a loyal per..per...person. I won’t do some...something like that!” the boss suddently turn to me and shouted “neither he die or you die!” I looked at Alex, I looked through his eyes, his eyes seem wanted to told me don’t do anything stupid. However in that particular moment, without the freedom to act independently, I couldn’t choose by myself.”sa...sa...sa” the rain went more heavily, the sky went darker and darker.”BANG!” the thunderstroke sounds loudly. As loud as the pistol... Alex fell down in to his blood.”hu..hu..huu” I breathed hurriedly. I did it finally. I did it... 

 

10 years later, I finished my UC’s duty and promoted to be a inspector. Although those gangster were caught by me, but I still can’t forgort what I have done that day. I told others that Alex were killed by the gangster. However I could lie to others but not myself. Every time I slept. I dreamed him. He lying on his blood, eyes were opened and look at me, seems that asking me why, why I did that to him. In this 10 years I couldn’t sleep well every night. However things changed on that day we met again. Yes, we met again in a rainy day. 

 

“BANG” today’s weather were similar to 10 years before.”HOW? WHY YOU WERE STILL ALIVE?ALEX!” we met in a dock at night “you should ask yourself hero, why I am still alive? I know you wanted me to die that you can save your life you TRAITOR!” Alex shout at me, he got some beard on his face and look like a old man.”I’m sorry Alex ,I..I have no choice, I need to do that, I know you can understand me.” I cried heavily and hug Alex. Alex pushed me off and said” Understand? I understand that you save your own life by killing your ‘best friend’, I am a gangster of "Qing Mu Tang" but not a cop now, caught me if you can inspector” he walked away “ Alex! I am sorry about what I did 10 years before!” I shouted at Alex “ ALEX WERE DEAD! THAT’S WHAT YOU CHOOSE HERO!”Alex shouted at me and finally walked away. 

 

I feel upset after I saw Alex again, I know I can’t changed what have happened in the past. But I still want to get his forgiveness. I saw Alex again in a operation of catching the boss of "Qing Mu Tang". In olden days we worked together, but now we stand against each other.”BANG...BANG...BANG” we went into a firefight, I searched for Alex in that chaos. I found him in a room finally. I pointed to him with my pistol.”Again,you pointed me with the pistol after 10 years again. What will you choose this time, I told you what had happened 10 years before, the boss of "Qing Mu Tang" saved my life and let me become the boss of "Qing Mu Tang" now. So I am the one who you are looking for, inspector, what will you choose this time?” 

 

I throw the gun away and hugged Alex hardly.”I am sorry...I feel very sorry...” My tears fell to the ground. Alex suddenly picked up the gun and pointed to his head and said” Leon, I miss you these years, I know you have no choice on that day, I just want to hear your real thought inside your heart, you finally chose to hug me but not catch me today, it show that you still remember me inside your heart. That’s enough, I got what I wanted. However I am now a gangster, we cant go back to those day. I am sorry.” After Alex’s speech.”BANG” he suicide and lied in my arms. I lost him forever. I lost my best friend forever. 

 

“ I am a superintendent now, but I still miss the day I worked with Alex.What if I didn’t kill him on that day?May the things went to other way? I don’t know, I only know that I miss him, because of my timid, I lost him forever. I am a traitor of our friendship, I am sorry Alex” I stand infront of the tomb of Alex and put down a flower.

The weather was cloudy but no rain on a normal school. Janet, Bella and Sarah were in the classroom. There was many classmates there. 

Janet and Bella were best friends since they were secondary 1. They always went to school together. Since Sarah joined them, they always had arguments. 

Janet was a kind person so she had lot of friends. That’s made Bella always felt confuse. She was a girl who always lack security. She always think that Janet would leave her alone. Sarah is a person who has lot of bad plan to people. Therefore, she doesn't have any friends.

Sarah was very jealous of Janet because she doesn't have any friends. Also, Sarah knew that Bella and Janet’s friendship was unstable. So that Sarah decided a bad idea, she was going to destroy their friendship. She always stayed with Bella, give presents and have lunch with Bella. Let her felt that she won’t be alone.

Sarah’s behaviour let Bella felt that Sarah wanted to be friend with her, so she told a secret about Janet to Sarah. Sarah was excited that Bella told Janet's secret to her and her plan become successful. Sarah was surprised to know that and told it to everyone in everywhere.

Janet knew that from her classmates. She was furious because this secret only Bella knew so she thought Bella betrayed her. She wanted to break off the friendship with Bella. Janet asked Bella, "Why you will do that?" Bella answered, "Sarah gave me many support. How about you? You only made me felt alone. Did you do anything for our friendship? I only wanted a stable relationship." Janet shouted to Bella, "That’s not the reason of you betrayed me! I am furious because my best friends Bella betrayed me."

After a few days, Janet learnt that Sarah was jealous of her and she wanted to break up Bella and her. So Janet went to find Bella and talk with her, she asked Bella, “Do you know why Sarah wanted you to betray me?" Bella answered, "I don't know and how can I know?" Janet told Bella seriously, "She is jealous of me and she wants to break up us. So we can't be a friend with her anymore."

Finally, Sarah was lonely. Bella and Janet became friends again and they broke off friendship with Sarah. Sarah regreted doing these things to Janet and Bella. She said suddenly, "I'm sorry to both of you." Bella and Janet said together, "Apology is not always be acceptable." They didn't forgive Sarah.

 

 Hector, a normal business man with a "little bit" of obese and He always wearing a thick lens glasses and casual wearing. He have already achieved a phenomenal success through these years of blood and tears and hard work that he have paid . Although He have reached many people's goal, which is becoming successful, He have lost too many things while focusing on his career, but at the same time He have gained the two most important thing in his life, his precious family and friendship.

 

 Talking about his friendship, we have to dig deep into this person, Robert, who is kind of like Hector's personal lawyer because He is the one who helped Hector when he was at the down side in his career. They always go out for a drink after litigating on Hector's cases and Robert just always winning the litigation all the time, therefore, Hector trust him a lot, and they just naturally became close friends, at last Robert became Hector's "personal lawyer". However, through many years of contacts and observations, Hector discovered one feature he has, he cares about money more than any other thing else. Because of this characters of him, directly led Hector to "death".

 

Hector and Bryce, both of them are the most well-known businessman among the village. Their total wealth can be used to maintain the resident for more than a centuries. They seem are supposed to cooperate, but indeed they hadn’t. Bryce always wanted to be “the most” well-known and wealthy person in the city. As a result, he decided to end up this game with a lie.

 

Bryce used his daughter as a tool to defeat Hector. He spread a rumor “Hector had kidnapped and killed his daughter, for the last competition revenge.” Within a second, this statement had filled up the atmosphere and everyone brain. Soon, Hector was kicked into a big trouble.

 

Through these days, Hector couldn’t trust himself. “What’s going on?” he asked himself for thousands of time. Yet, he couldn’t get the answer. He was going to have mentally illness, as if his head was going to be crushed. Fortunately, Robert give him a hand instantly, after he had heard the noise, simply by arguing the statement.

 

A day before the judgement, it was rainy and thunder day, Bryce felt abnormally nervous and disturbed, he was afraid of his fault, but he hadn’t given up, instead he wanted an absolute winning. He sneaked into Robert’s house and putted $50M into his mailbox, and left without a sound. Within a second, Robert backed, he was shocked about what he had seen, but he got what he mean.

 

 Hector thought that he was in a comfort zone, cause he was supposed to win the litigation because he didn't even killed anybody, but Robert was surprisingly, losing the litigation. After that Robert told the truth to Hector. After hearing that Hector's face was red and his eyes popped out ' Robert! How can you do this to me? What about our friendship for over 20 years? You just throwing it away like garbage? ' Robert didn't answer anything.

 

 It was another rainy day, the judge said' Guilty. ' in the court, and sent Hector to execution stage and Robert was there too, on the last minute of Hector's life, He shouted 'Robert! You bastard! ME and my family, all of my family members won't let you go! We will come to find you, and kill you!' in the next second, the executioner said ' shoot!' The bullet came from everywhere, and went through Hector's body one by one, his torso, head, arms, blood splashed out everywhere. After a minute long of shooting, the solders put down their guns. Hector was gone forever, left only his bloody, smelly burnt corpse.

 

 

Robert didn't think he would make such a huge mistake and killing his friend, while shocking about his death, Robert eyes and mouth were widely opened. He sat regret and start crying. “What have I done?” he asked. He punched himself as hard as he could. Not very long time later, Hector family got the truth from Hector’s will. They started to plan for Robert and Bryce to pay what they’ve done, revenging.

 

 

Soon, Robert quickly realized this and moved to another country nearby, Cuba, in a unobvious village. He was driven by his fear, he couldn't sleep at night because whenever he close his eyes,
 Hector's dead corpse appeared in front of him.

Hector's brother had already done a lot for the plan, asking all his friends and bribing all the official in immigration. Finally, it led him to a dark trail, which Bryce's house was located in the end. Hector's brother, a profession thief, sneaked inside the house without leaving a footprint, just shadow in a smoggy dark night. Only time can tell what have happened.

 The news broke out, business man Bryce was found dead in his bathroom. Of course, Robert knew that it was Hector's family. He was hiding in his small house and thought to himself ' I killed Hector... I killed Hector for my own sake.. Now his family were going to revenge..' His body was shivering.

 

 Robert stayed at home for the whole year without making even a noise. Nevertheless, nothing can be faked in front of CCTV. And he believed, there was a great action movie soon. He brought a lot of funny tool he needed, pistol, knife, and even a saw, as he can’t help with his emotion. He sat in his planning room and waited the day to pass.

 

Wait and Wait. The moon have already gone across the cloudy sky. “It’s time to bring the show.” He said with a grin on his face. He take his jacket and his “Toy” and gone.

He walked slowly, as if he was an ant, not observable and audible.

 

After 30 minutes effort, he arrived. He toke off this angry sound and put on a kind one. “Pizza arrived” a girl sound is heard. “What pizza? I haven’t even picked up my phone, have I ?””Who care, that would be my dinner. Ha Ha Ha” Robert screamed loudly. He rushed to the door and opened the door, as his has already starve for a week. Hence, he wipe his eyes with nothing was seen.

 

“Hello, anybody here? Hello” he screamed. He saw a clock left in front of his house, putted on a table outside. “What do you mean by this?” Robert’s brain started to pop up something. “Shhhh. You will wake up be a better man.” A sound was heard. “Oh no” he shouted and bang the door immediately. “AHHHHHHHHHH” he voiced already before he has a chance the shut the door.

 

Bleed and bleed. He felt on the floor with the blood on the ground. He saw a black shadow in front of him. “You pay for what you’ve done.” He tried his best to run for his life but he couldn’t. He screamed as he saw his foot was not moving with him, which is stabbed by a knife.

 

Hector’s brother grabbed Robert and hanged him up with a steel string. “Whoa” He punched him as if he was a sandbag. On everytime he punched, he grew more angry. “Shut your mouth and take this bastard.” He reached the climax of his emotion. He picked up a knife and hangover his head. Suddently, a very bring light blinded him. That’s the dawn. 

 

He putted his knife on regret and left the word to him “You live it your own way, don’t let me see you again.” Suddently, a strange footstep appear and cause Robert to look back. Hector appear and scared Robert. He was find and still with a dummy look.  “Have you learnt the lesson kid? I have even used my life to educate you, cause we are friend, and I am feeling well to let you go.” “Tomorrow, be a better man, and be the best lawyer in the world. Goodbye my friend. It’s my pleasure to have you to be my friend.” Hector used his last breath.

 

 Tears running all over his face and he just keep saying ”I’m sorry my friend. I don’t deserve this.” He rushed to hug Hector. But he disappear when they contact. Robert run into despair and beat his leg with brutal force. After a minutes, he stopped. He had already known what Hector mean, and the meaning behind his scarification.

 

He grabbed his backpack and saw the sun again, with a firing eye. Yet, no one saw Robert again. He left the village and quitted the lawyer. He toke what Hector said and went all over the world till the end of his life. Not disappointing his friend again.

Today is a night with a storm thunder and lightning ensured. This reminds the most unforgettable experience in her life.

That day, Jennifer's dad had disappeared for a week. He went to a forest to prepare a news report about missing case in that forest. Jennifer decided to find his dad. That day was the day of Halloween and Jennifer didn't know that, this would be the most unforgettable for her.
 
Jennifer found the forest and she got into the forest. It was pretty dark and creepy there. She could still hear the birds' sound. But that was like screaming more than singing. An hour later. The forest was completely dark, it was nighttime. And it started to rain. Jennifer took her torch out, she kept shouting,'Daddy! Daddy! It is time to go home.' She really wanted to get her dad back and went home immediately since the forest was creepier at the storm of thunder and lighting ensured. She kept walking, suddenly she got hit by something and fainted.
 
Drip......drip......drip.... . A person in a big house was hit by the water drop and being woken. 'Jesus. My head....' said Jennifer while she slowly opened her eyes. ' Where I am? Why am I here? ' Said doubtfully. When Jennifer looking around this place, she also found a few more people were there. They found that the room filled with some blood on the floor. Jennifer screamed after she discovered this. 'Please stop screaming, it's not a suitable time for you to play.' said by man with jeans and T-shirts. They briefly introduced themselves to each other. Tom was finding his sister. John was having an adventure with his friend, but he got lost. Evans was trying to find his father, like Jennifer. All of them remembered they were hit by something and fainted. And when they woke up, they were at this creepy house.
 
After a while, Tom found the door. However, it was locked. ' Oh no.' said John. They realized that they are in big trouble. After a while, Tom said,' To be honest, I don't think I can get out from this creepy house. Thus, I won't search for the way out with you. Instead, I'll explore alone. ' Then, he just left the team. Obviously, it is hard to work with Strangers. So all of them decided to explore the big house alone first. Tom decided to explore the first floor. He went to a long hallway and entered a room, he found something wrong with this room. He found the lamp on the desk was still on and a dairy was being placed next to the lamp. The curious causing Tom to read the diary. In the diary, Tom found abundant of information in it. There were a few photos and some words that described those people. Tom was very scared as all of these photos and the names were shown on the news. Those people were disappeared in this forest. When Tom kept reading the diary, he found their name on it, including himself, John and Jennifer. However, the diary didn't include Evans' name. Tom was confused and kept checking the diary. He suddenly found Evans' name on the last page of the diary. 'Aha, got ya.' Somebody stabbed Tom from behind. 'Phew, that was close.' The murderer said. 'It is you.....' Tom tried his best to speak. 'Yes, it is me, surprised?' laughed the murderer. The murderer then cut the last breath from Tom. The blood spill everywhere.
 
John went to the first floor and tried to see if Tom found something. Before he went down stairs, he heard some footsteps. He turned around and realized Evans was behind him. 'Oh Evans, did you saw Tom?' 'No, I guess he escaped without telling us, let's search the second floor if there is a way to escape.' said Evans. ' Yeah, maybe Tom went to the second floor and escaped. Let's go to the second floor and see if Jennifer found something.' said John. Then they went to another long hallway and explored the rooms there.
 
Meanwhile, Jennifer walked downstairs quietly, she wanted to be alone. She didn't want to explore the big house with the strangers. She went to a hallway. She saw Tom in one of the rooms. 'Tom? Why are....' Jennifer wanted to scream but she held it. She wanted to know why Tom was lying there, but she knew why at that that moment. The stinky, fishy smell was all over the room. The blood split was everywhere. Jennifer took a look at the diary that the dead bodies was holding. Jennifer opened a page of the diary,' A man came to the forest today. It was a fun toy. He died at 10 minutes. That is a new record. I always kill the people who got in the forest in 5 minutes.' The date of that page is 21st October. 'Oh dear.' Jennifer knew everything at the moment. Evans was a murderer. But she clearly missed something. Jennifer kept exploring the room and found a ring of keys. 'One of them must be the key of the entrance!' Jennifer said.' I am telling John about this!'

   
Jennifer ran extremely quick, how lucky she was, she found John in this big house in a minute.' Where is Evans?' ask Jennifer. ' He is in the kitchen.' John said. Jennifer said nothing and show John the diary. ' What the...for real?' John asked, Jennifer nodded her head to answer John and showed him keys. ' Right, let's escape now!' said John.

   
After that, Jennifer found a giant shadow showed up at the back of John. It is Evans. He was waving a knife. 'Hey buddies, what are you doing?' asked Evans. Evans was extremely aggressive for both Jennifer and John at that moment. 'We are....just looking around...' Jennifer answered and choking with sobs. 'LIARS!' shouted Evans, and he started to chase them. They didn’t know how to react with it, the only thing they knew is run away from here. They tried to push down some vase nearby to stop Evans caught them. But it seemed like nothing can stop that 'beast' from chasing its preys. Evans was very close to John. 'You are dead!' shouted Evans. 'Hmph...' John blocked the attack from Evans with his bare hands. His hands were badly injured. ' Run Jennifer! I will handle this!' John shouted. Jennifer was so scared and kept bobbing. She opened the entrance door and run. She kept running and running.

Finally, she returned to the city. She went to the police station and told her experience to the police officers. But the police couldn't find that big house. Jennifer regretted about leaving John and those evidence behind.

That is the end of Jennifer's story, but what if Jennifer chose to help John instead of escaping.

We can't be friend with her anymore!" 

 

Then, Janet and Bella asked Sarah about that. At first, Sarah didn’t deny what she did. After a while, Janet found a classmate who was told by Sarah. The classmate told everything she knew to them. When Sarah saw that she had been dismantled, she directly acknowledged the act of doing it, all in order to destroy the friendship between Bella and Janet. Bella knew it was very sad. She didn't think that her friend Sarah, who she always trusted, was such a person. It turned out that Sarah had a purpose to approach Bella, but she betrayed her best friend Janet because of her behavior. After a round of reflection, Bella sincerely apologized to Janet. 

 

Finally, Sarah was lonely. Bella and Janet became friends again and they broke off friendship with Sarah. Sarah regretted doing these things to Janet and Bella. She said suddenly, "I'm sorry to both of you." Bella and Janet said together, "Apology is not always be acceptable." They didn't forgive Sarah. 

"Hello, Ray, what is your extraordinary achievement must need?" asked by a  reporter.
"That's because of how much time you pay on the things you want. Work hard! Play hard!"
"However, you still needed a person who can lead you to become successful ."
"Who was that person?"
"Of course a legendary person named Billy. He has saved my life until today."
"Woo! Unbelievable, you have a unique relationship with Billy."
"Yes, but that is a long period story ..."

When Ray is still young, he had tried to become a celebrity who was a success at the movie. However, he had no chance to become a singer. His mom, wanted him to become a teacher, who is very smart and knowledgeable to teach everyone in anywhere. His father, wanted him to become a scientist, who is able to discover and develop groundbreaking things and technique for a human. With the idea of tiger parents, Ray started stocking, churning on his university choosing, he didn't know what to do. At this moment, a man came to him when he gets in a show to watch that man's show.

That guy was Billy, he told and taught Ray how to become a movie star, Ray so appreciated that Billy help him and Ray started to be fixated on acting and movie. Billy told to Ray a saying don't limit your challenge, challenge your limit’’ this sentence inspire Ray a lot. In the foreseeable future, he finally tried to learn how to be a movie star against his parents. After a long time trying, It is finally time he had a big leap forward to had a little bit of success. With the determination, he finally becomes one of the most famous stars in the world who was taken the world by storm.

Back to now, Ray was still having a lot of movies filming, to teach people to become a success and inspire them to think out of the box t. He also did things like Billy to make people fin, inspire them. And said a quote to the world what we all are using talking and using now-’’We reap what we sow. Opportunities are given to those who are prepared’’ to bring a message to every single person in different where tell they need to work hard and adhere to everything and the success will come very soon. Ray will keep on doing something like this until his life is ending.

But people started to reject his movies because of a tiny and unforgivable mistake, he does something that was discrimination. He dislikes other people who are poor. It made his famous and popular were descending. He very regretted about that mistake. Ray doesn't know how to do, even he apologized to those people but it still not works and kept received the scold form the world, internet, and his fans. At last, he even wants to self-suicide and closed his life. At the moment he tries to do this, Billy seeks him.

Billy started to help him. He told Ray "When you are the same to each other, then others won't reject you anymore. You need to know the say’’Don’t do unto others what you wouldn’t have others do unto you don't do something that you are hate to another. And kept comfort Ray and told her if you really changed your mind, Time will prove everything. Ray understood that and he donated all of his wealth to help the poor and to do more charity that can help weak people.

Time will prove everything!

People finally agreed to his apologize and started welcome Ray to their heart. And they told Ray that Ray become a favorable person and they will let bygones be bygones.

A year and a year past. The world changes a lot. But Ray did not change his belief in helping others.

Mysterious Forest

Today is a night with a storm thunder and lightning ensured. This reminds the most unforgettable experience in her life... That day Jennifer's dad had disappeared for a week. He went to a forest to prepare a news report about missing case in that forest. Jennifer decided to find his dad. That day was the day of Halloween and Jennifer didn't know that, this would be the most unforgettable for her.

 

Jennifer found the forest and she got into the forest. It was pretty dark and creepy there. She could still hear the birds' sound. But that was like screaming more than singing. An hour later, the forest was completely dark, it was nighttime. And it started to rain. Jennifer took her torch out, she kept shouting, 'Daddy! Daddy! It is time to go home.' She really wanted to get her dad back and went home immediately since the forest was creepier at the storm of thunder and lighting ensured. 

 

She kept walking, suddenly she got hit by something and fainted. Drip......drip......drip.... . A person in a big house was hit by the water drop and being woken. 'Jesus. My head.... .' said Jennifer while she slowly opened her eyes. 'Where I am?  Why I am here?' said doubtfully. When Jennifer looking around the room, she also found a few more people in the same room. They found that the room filled with some blood on the floor. Jennifer screamed after she discovered this.

'Please stop screaming, it's no a suitable time to do this. 'said by man with jeans and T-shirts. 'Let's find the way out of this room first. 'After a round of research in this room, they discovered a key under the bed and they got out of room by using the key to open the door. 

 

When the door opened, a fishy and stinky smell showed up. 'Ow, this smell is nausea!’ everyone said. Suddenly, Tom said that ' To be honest, I don't think I can get out from this wooden house. Thus, I won't search for the way out with you. Instead, I'll explore alone.’ After this, he just left Evans, John and Jennifer.  (362 words)
