Nationalism-
Belief that one country is dominant over other countries nationwide. An example of this cause is when the Slavic people in Bosnia and Herzegovina didn’t want to be apart of Austria-Hungary anymore, but wanted to be apart of Serbia instead.

Imperialism-
This is when more powerful imperialistic countries take over less powerful countries.
Example-
Increase in need for imperializing Africa and Asia in Europe led to more competition for gaining their raw materials, and greater empires. This lead to more confrontation for these materials.

Militarism-
Militarism is mainly revolved around conscription or drafting for short.
Example- Great Britain and Germany were starting to expand their navies which started to have a great influence on public policy, which lead to more militarism around the world and places like Germany and GB getting involved in the war.
