Jonas was feeling anxious because the twelve ceremony was near and they were given their assignments. Other than that he had no clue what he was going to be assigned. the fact that the apple "changed" but in a way that shocked Jonas and asher was confusing and suspenseful. 

I knew most of the words yet I just learnt about how some words have many words. 


Noor's drawing was a representation of when someone gets released and the lady is an angel or their soul as it's floating in the air.

Noor's drawing was very creative, and has a deep meaning to it. I think the drawing is about the community Jonas is in. The black and white represent that they live in a world without colour. The lady however may be Jonas mom or perhaps any other lady who has been released.

2. The only rule the elders could break is to be seen nude than others as an acceptation. Since they need to be bathed and such.

When Lilly spot the difference in  Gabe's eyes, it made Jonas feel uncomfortable, unconfident and unsure of himself. That made him spend lots of time looking at his mirror reflection. A habit that he never did. 

I've learnt lots of new vocabulary words that have several meanings that I can use in my daily language.

To me; Noor's painting represents The Angel Of Death. The color grey and black shows power. So it basically shows the power that The Angel of Death has of releasing souls.
