The book is narrated by Death and Death tells a story about a girl who likes to takes book. She lives in Germany in the era of the Nazi party and is a bit poor. The book takes a good part of my heart and plays with it. The words written by Markus are surprisingly touching and exciting at the same time. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/14/books/review/14greenj.html?_r=0

A boy fights a company through a virtual reality world that almost everyone lives in. The book has a great plot about a boy fighting for what he thinks should be free for everyone. He isn't alone. The real world is an extremely bad place so almost everyone uses this virtual reality that a company is trying to take over. Ready Player One has a nice plot with action, teamwork, a small love interest, and a few bleak moments. If you grew up in the 80's or 90's, you will enjoy the references.
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/15/books/ready-player-one-by-ernest-cline-review.html?_r=0
