Students will be asked to create a graph notebook, demonstrating their understanding of the graphs that we have been learning about in class. Prior to this assessment, students will have had: lessons on the topic, modeling of the concept, exercises using graphs, and independent/group work using graphs. During the performance assessment, students will be asked to show their knowledge by doing the following:
1. describing the 3 different graphs
2. creating a guiding question and answer choices for the graphs
3. showing the data they collected
4. analyzing the data they collected
Students will also have an opportunity to self-assess using "I CAN" statements, using the same verbiage that they are use to in math. Students will also be asked to complete a self-reflection at the end using a glow and grow sentence starter.
