• This is your first professional milestone.

5. Take the NMAT (National Medical Admission Test)

• This is the final test that grants you the title “Doctor of Medicine”.

• Choose a specialty: Pediatrics, Surgery, Internal Medicine, OB-GYN, etc.

Yes, Personal Development was very helpful to me. It made me understand myself on a deeper level my strengths, weaknesses, habits, and even how I react to different situations. Through the lessons and activities, I became more aware of my emotions and how to manage them. It also helped me see what kind of person I want to become and what goals I should set for my future. Overall, it guided me to reflect more on who I am and who I’m trying to be.

2. What were your key takeaways from the subject?

My key takeaways were:

• Self-awareness is important because it helps me make better decisions and understand my emotions.

• Setting goals gives direction, especially when planning for my future.

• Healthy relationships matter, and communication and boundaries are necessary for them to grow.

• Managing stress and emotions is a skill I need for school, family, and life in general.

These lessons made me realize that personal growth is something I have to work on every day.

3. What were your two favorite topics and why?

(1) Self-Awareness and Self-Concept – I liked this topic because it helped me discover more about my personality, values, and the things that motivate me. It made me think deeply about myself and understand why I act the way I do.

(2) Goal Setting – This was my second favorite because it helped me plan for my future more clearly. It taught me how to make realistic goals and create steps to achieve them, which is very useful for school and even career plans.
