         <title>Abrasion </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Abrasions are superficial injuries of the skin and visceral linings in the body, resulting in a break in the continuity of tissue.<br>How to Treat: Wash the scrape with clean water 2 times a day. Don't use hydrogen peroxide or alcohol, which can slow healing. You may cover the scrape with a thin layer of petroleum jelly, such as Vaseline, and a non-stick bandage. Apply more petroleum jelly and replace the bandage as needed.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Laceration </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A laceration is a wound that is produced by the tearing of soft body tissue. This type of wound is often irregular and jagged. A laceration wound is often contaminated with bacteria and debris from whatever object caused the cut.<br>How to Treat: Properly clean the wound. Remove all dirt and debris by first running cool water over the area, and then cleaning with a sterile cloth, warm water, and mild soap. Apply an antibiotic ointment, and then cover the wound area with a sterile gauze bandage and first-aid tape. Make sure to check for infection every day when changing the bandage and use ointments to minimize scarring.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>An incision is a cut made into the body during surgery.<br>How to Treat: Gently wash it with soap and water to remove the crust. Do not scrub or soak the wound. Do not use rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or iodine, which can harm the tissue and slow wound healing. Air-dry the incision or pat it dry with a clean, fresh towel before reapplying the dressing.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Puncture </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A cut may be deep, smooth, or jagged. It may be near the surface of the skin, or deeper. A deep cut can affect tendons, muscles, ligaments, nerves, blood vessels, or bones. A puncture is a wound made by a pointed object such as a nail, knife, or sharp tooth.<br>How to Treat: Wash your hands. Stop the bleeding by applying gentle pressure with a clean bandage or cloth. clean the wound by rinsing the wound with water, and get rid of dirt and debris. Apply a thin layer of an antibiotic cream or ointment. For the first two days rewash the area and reapply the antibiotic when you change the dressing. Cover the wound. Change the dressing daily. And watch for signs of infection. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Avulsion </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>An avulsion is a forcible tearing off of skin or another part of the body, such as an ear or a finger. Any time layers of skin have been torn off to expose muscles, tendons and tissue, it is called an avulsion. initial care: apply pressure to the wound area with sterile gauze while usign gloves. watch for severe bleeding and wrap the wound with sterile gauze, thaen move the person to a physician. Post Care: keep wound clean and dry to prevent infection sutures and staples may be needed to keep the limb or structure attached, keep reapplying the gauze warp so it heals </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>grab the edge of one of the gloves preferably of your non dominant hand, then pull the glove off so that it goes inside out. then with your non dominant hand with no glove put your index finger underneath the glove and pull the glove off upwards until it turns inside out as well. after you take the gloves off make sure you wash your hands well.</div>]]></description>
