i made the nazar or for english speakers known as evil eye. the evil eye is usually made of glass, and painted with the colors in order, in the middle is the black: supposed to look like the pupil of the eye, then around the black is cyan: the bright color next to the black is attracting your eye to itself, around the cyan is white, and the color on the side of the glass is dark blue.  this blue eye nazar is believed to protect you from general evil, people in turkey hang it on or on top of the door, it is supposed to stop the evil from entering the room or the house. there are many other types of nazar or the evil eye. they all have different colors and each protect from something specific. orange is for happiness and protection and for motivation, it is also to increase creativity and playfulness. purple is to remove obstacles and boost your imagination. tourist buy them as decoration mostly but there are some tourist who use it as it is supposed to be used. they buy the evil eye drawn on a bracelet and necklaces, clothes and hats and even on lamps. the importance of sharing culture is getting to know each other, people may have different ways of communicating, dressing and different beliefs than others. it is better to understand each other and where we come from. people who have never heard of the culture will have a chance to learn about it and know more. ]]> 2023-06-13 09:30:47 UTC https://padlet.com/babayeva1/cny225uds079qm42/wish/2622117548
