Could you please write the text fot the problem? The Idea is that until today there no one has really got any education about living substainably. This must change, they need to teach people how to educate themselves.

We were able to find out what the real problem to this topic is.

Our Problem: Not everyone has got education when it comes to the topic substainability. Not even schools really teach about it. Of course we could have a subject in school where you teach students about living substainable. But what about the People who aren‘t going to school anymore? We can‘t exclude them from learning about it. So the question we‘re asking us now, how will we be able do teach everyone in our population?

Actually, we thought you were writing the problem next, but that’s ok!

This is our problem: The problem we want to confront is the imbalance in the education system. In many countries, access to high quality education depends heavily on a child’s social background and location. This leads to a large gap between those who have the opportunity to receive a good education and those who don‘t.so far in Germany there has not been political support for the education of sustainable development.

Learning and teaching environments have not been transformed to be wholistic. There is no competence for sustainable behaviour among teachers and learners. So have to strengthen and mobilise youth and we also have to promote sustainable development at the local level.

Here is also our motivation: Why is it important to talk about national education policy? Especially because education is the key to equal opportunities and social development. If we try for a future in which every child has access to high quality education, regardless of their background or location, we can make sure that all children can be able to realise their full potential and have the same opportunities to succeed in the world of tomorrow.

It's important that everybody knows how to live sustainable and that everyone gets the right education. We live in a society were life-long learning is necessary. When the climate changes we need to find new solutions for new problems. And I want to life in a world where everyone knows how to handle with environmental issues.

Call to action: Start educating yourself and help others to educate themselves. Start living substainable and be a life-long learner

The schools today don't teach enough about climate change and global warming. That is quite a problem, because this topic is getting more and more important nowadays. A lot of important topics aren't taught in school, which leads to the children not caring about our planet.

In the past, teachers haven't been educated well about climate change and other global topics. Today there are initiatives which educate these teachers. It is also possible for them to receive a certificate, which makes the eligible to transfer that knowledge to other teachers. They are reluctand to show commitment in school development and are not aware that culture influences the way we plan our future.

If we manage to archive that, we can all live on a healthier planet and be healthier and smarter. It also motivates the students to commit to doing the things they like and it makes going to school more fun.

We ourselfes experienced, that the teacher have a lack of knowledge about the enviroment.

This global issue of electronic waste demands attention and a sustainable solution. At our school, we're want to commit to making a difference.

We propose a simple yet impactful step: instead of discarding old devices, let's contribute to a circular economy. We will invite our schoolmates to give our old phones a second life by returning them to stores that refurbish and resell, not only reducing waste but also offering affordable options for others.

And what about the broken parts of old cell phones? We will bring boxes to school and ask students to put the broken parts of their old cell phones in them so that we can organize a separate collection to take to the ecological centers set up by the municipality of our city.

At our school, we would like to give our contribution to bridge this educational gap. We are going to invite experts who might equip us and our teachers with the tools to implement  sustainable practices.

By organizing local initiatives for sustainable development education, we aim to create a ripple effect that extends far beyond the classroom. (Eugenia, Lucia, Viola, Ludovico)

Solutions to increase the knowledge about environmental issues can be diverse. For example, the WWW offers platforms such as “One planet school”, which contains up-to date and innovative educational contents for teachers, a rich digital library, information on education events. Another informative platform is “Young reporters for the environment”. Additionally we would recommend the UNESCO site.

We are going to invite our teachers to use these resources at school in order to be encouraged to s to actively participate in school development, emphasizing the influence of culture on our collective future planning.

The benefits of this solution are profound. A well-informed teaching body not only nurtures a generation of environmentally conscious students but also makes learning more engaging and enjoyable. As a result, we collectively contribute to a healthier planet and cultivate a society that is not only smarter but also more motivated to pursue their passions.

Convincing teachers and school leaders about the importance of sustainability lessons requires a thoughtful and compelling approach. Here are some strategies we are going to use:

Demonstrate how sustainability education aligns with broader educational goals, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary learning. Illustrate how these lessons can enhance our  understanding of science, geography, economics, civics and other subjects.

Share with teachers user-friendly educational resources that make it easy for them to incorporate sustainability lessons into their existing curriculum.

Involve parents in the conversation. Support from the school community can be a powerful motivator for teachers and school leaders to prioritize sustainability lessons.

Showcase success stories of schools that have integrated sustainability education and the positive impact it has had on students, the school community, and the environment.

By combining these approaches, we can build a compelling case for the integration of sustainability lessons into the school curriculum.

We believe in an inclusive approach to sustainability education. Our solution involves reaching beyond traditional classrooms to engage the broader population in partnership with community centers, local organizations, community leaders, local businesses, and non-profit organizations. We envision  online resources to create accessible and engaging content to inform individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
