The animals were killed in an inhumane way for example they were knock in the head.. They were tortured till they die. The animals felt a lot of pain before they die in that place where they were killed.
Example 1: "Once crowded in here, the creatures were prisoned , each in a separate pen, by gates that shut , leaving them no room to turn around, and while they stood bellowing and plunging, over the top of the pen there leaned one of the knockers, armed with a sledge hammer, and watching for a chance to deal a blow.(page 43)
Example 2:"There were fifteen or twenty such as pens, and it was a matter of only a couple minutes to knock fifteen or twenty cattle and roll them out" (page 43)

Chapter 2
We agree with this statement because Emmanuelo and his group explained in details how the animals were killed. He also says that the workers didn't just killed them immediately, they let them suffer until they died.

we agree because we remember on chapter 3 the author illustrate the place this animals were cut it and the way they get rid of them. they would punch them with a hammer on the head to knock them and kill them more easy. this a really dirty because where they gang them head down they would cut the neck and all the blood would be everywhere.

we agree because what they said is true, they treated the animals horrible, the animals suffered so much in the process like how they were torture before actually killing them.
