Some people keep their anger inside of them not expressing it. While other people show their anger by punching things. They might not be the brightest of people but they are still human.
  Although punching a locker isn't the smartest choice it's way better than punching a wall. If you punch a wall you are really angry or depresssed. If you punch a locker you just want to show how much of a man you are by putting a dent in the locker. Overall though it's just expressing whatever feeling that's inside of you.
