"Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Amendment II

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Amendment III

No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Amendment V

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Amendment VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

Amendment VII

In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise reexamined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

Amendment VIII

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Amendment IX

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people. "

Today, the American state is considered one of the most stable and successful examples of democracy in the entire world. American citizens can bluster of high quality of life, social and economic well being, freedom in any type of way, people rights protection, and a lot more benefits resulting in advanced democratic development all thanks to our founding fathers of the United States Constitution.
Before the U.S constitution existed, in place for that was the articles of confederation. Now the articles of confederation were the first constitution of the United states, what the articles did was that they created a loose confederation of sovereign states and a very weak central government, leaving most of the power with the state governments. Which this type of power was not wanted for the states, they needed a stronger federal government a government who can decide things within themselves rather than each state individually. Also the purpose of the central government was clearly shown in the articles, resolving controversies between different states, diplomacy, and printing money, were all controlled by congress. So the need for a stronger federal government soon became obvious which eventually led to the Constitutional convention. The constitutional convention met between May and September of 1787, to talk about the problems of the weak central government that they had under the articles of confederation.
Through this whole discussion and debate it eventually became clear around the mid of June that the convention would draft an entirely new frame of government rather than amend the existing articles, Then the united states constitution became apparent form the convention and established a federal government with a lot more specific powers, now under the reconstructed federal system, many of the responsibilities for foreign affairs went under the authority of an executive branch, even though important powers such as treaty ratification stayed as the responsibility of the legislative branch. After all of the state ratifications, the constitution came into effect in 1789, and has been the basis of the United States Government ever since.
The U.S Constitution framers were hoping to create a better government, the constitution was created with 55 delegates, some were George Washington, James Madison, Ben franklin, and much more. There were many disagreements on this constitution many speeches, and many rules and rights that the delegates wanted to add to the the constitution. After everything the U.S Constitution had to be ratified by at least nine states for it to be effective to the law.

The constitution is made up of the preamble and the first 10 amendments, which are called the bill of rights, and seven other articles that address executive power, legislative power, judicial power, amendments, federal power and ratification. Which the founding fathers argued that the constitution should not be ratified, since it failed to protect basic principles of human liberty. The bill of rights was proposed by James Madison; the bill of rights was influenced by George Mason’s 1776 Virginia Declaration of Rights. The bill of rights has an important role in American law and government, till’ this day it remains a fundamental symbol of culture and freedom of the nation.

As I read about the U.S Constitution I came to learn that no other document had ever gave people freedom the way it has and that no other contract has gave such a foundation of prosperity, the constitution isn’t perfect but it most definitely is close to perfect.
