         <description><![CDATA[<div>My hypothesis is when the liver is exposed to the peroxide alone, it will cause a reaction and the peroxide will turn into water and oxygen. Also, when the heated enzymes interact with the peroxide, the reaction will not be as efficient as the reaction from the previous tests. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Procedure</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>To start off the lab, we take the eyedropper and fill the first test tube with about 2 cm of water. We then place the piece of liver in test tube number 1. This will be our control. Next, we will fill test tube number 2 with approximately 2 cm of peroxide. We will then place another piece of liver inside test tube number 2. After this, we will again fill test tube number 3 with about 2 cm of peroxide. Then, we will set one of the splints on fire, let it burn for a while, blow it out, and quickly place it inside the peroxide to see if it is flammable. Then, we will fill test tube number 4 with 2 cm of peroxide and a piece of liver, then set another splint on fire, let it burn for a while, then blow it out. Then quickly, touch it with the reaction from test tube 4. This is used to truly see if the reaction gives off water and oxygen because oxygen plus heat will spark a fire. Finally, we place a piece of liver inside test tube number 5 along with some water and boil it for a little while. Then we will put some peroxide inside the test tube and see if a reaction occurs. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Conclusion</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After the lab, I came to the conclusion that my hypothesis was correct. The lab clearly shows that the mixture of peroxide and liver gives off oxygen and water because the heated splint caused a spark on the reaction. We saw this first in test tube 2 when it first gave off water and oxygen and it left the peroxide behind.&nbsp;This shows that the enzymes in our bodies release oxygen and water when they break down our food. We also found that the boiled liver had a smaller reaction compared to a piece of liver at its ideal temperature.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
