Vergeet-mij-nietje, behoort tot de ruwbladigenfamilie (Boraginaceae).
In het Grieks betekent het muisoortje.
Het is een lief helder blauw bloempje met een geel oogje dat zich vrolijk zelf uitzaait.
Het blad is zacht behaard.
Na de bloei verdord het plantje en mag het uitgetrokken worden.
Daarna kan je ze uitschudden waar je ze nog zou willen hebben.
Ze zijn erg bloeirijk maar hangt van jaar tot jaar af.
Na een natte en/of strenge winter zal je er minder hebben.

Groeihoogte: 10 - 20 cm.
Bloeikleur: Blauw, roze en wit.

Wanneer zaaien?
Op het einde van de lente, uitplanten in september, bloeit in het voorjaar.

Waar zaaien?
