Pieces of Trishure is more than just a title, it’s a part of me. Hi, I’m Trisha Alvarado, and this space holds little pieces of my life: my thoughts, memories, dreams, and everything in between. Each post is a "Trishure", a small treasure that helped shape who I am today. I’m inviting you to take a peek into my world, one piece at a time. Thank you for being here, I hope you find something that speaks to you, even in the smallest way.

I wouldn’t be who I am today without the love and support of the people around me. My family, who taught me strength and kindness. My friends and homies, who bring laughter, loyalty, and realness into my life. My lover, who reminds me what it means to be seen, supported, and loved deeply. And above all, God my greatest source of guidance, purpose, and peace. Each of them has left a mark on my heart, and I carry their inspiration with me every step of the way.

And here's how those tough moments made me stronger.

Looking back, those tough moments weren’t just obstacles they were turning points. They pushed me out of my comfort zone and forced me to face things I once avoided, like failure, pressure, and self-doubt. Each challenge taught me something: how to be patient with myself, how to keep going even when things felt heavy, and how to stand back up after falling short. I didn’t become stronger overnight, but little by little, I started to see changes in how I handle life. I learned how to manage my time better, how to focus despite distractions, and how to stay calm when things don’t go as planned. I realized that growth often happens in silence, in the late nights and quiet frustrations no one else sees. Those hard days built the version of me I’m becoming someone more resilient, more self-aware, and more grounded. And honestly, I wouldn’t trade those lessons for anything, because they’re the reason I keep moving forward with confidence.

Like anyone else, I’ve faced my fair share of challenges in life especially as a student. One of the biggest struggles has been dealing with distractions, especially from social media. It’s so easy to get caught up online, even when there are tasks and deadlines waiting to be done. Time management has also been a constant battle trying to balance schoolwork, personal time, and responsibilities isn't always easy. There were moments when I had to choose between rest and requirements, and sometimes, I got overwhelmed. Budgeting my allowance is another challenge, especially when there are unexpected school expenses or things I want but don’t really need. Academic pressure also weighs heavy at times staying on top of lessons, projects, and expectations can be draining. But through all these, I’ve been learning slowly but surely. I’ve realized that struggles like these don’t make me weak they remind me that I’m growing. Every challenge may test me, but it also teaches me and I know I’m becoming stronger because of them.

Some moments in life that I'm really proud of.

One of the things I’m most proud of is being a good daughter and taking responsibility for my family it means the world to me. I’ve also worked hard to stay on the honor list throughout school, which shows how dedicated I am to my goals. But the moment that really stands out was when I faced my biggest fear during the Cebu Tech Talks. Public speaking has always been something that made me nervous, and the thought of talking in front of a big crowd felt overwhelming. Even though I didn’t deliver my speech perfectly that day, just getting up there and trying was a huge win for me. It taught me that courage isn’t about being flawless it’s about pushing through fear and showing up anyway. That experience made me realize how much stronger I am than I thought. Looking back, I’m proud not because everything went perfectly, but because I didn’t let my fear stop me. Moments like that have helped me grow and believe in myself more every day. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that our fears don’t define us our willingness to face them does.

I have a bunch of hobbies that bring me joy and help me connect with the people I love. Playing the guitar is one of my favorite ways to relax and express myself. I’m a big fan of watching Hollywood movies and K-dramas there’s just something about those stories that pulls me in every time. One of my favorite ways to bond with my siblings and cousins is playing cards and Mahjong together; it’s always filled with laughter and friendly competition. Cooking is another passion of mine, even if not everyone knows it I love trying out new recipes and sharing food with family. I also enjoy capturing life’s little moments by taking videos and pictures; these memories mean a lot to me. When I need a moment to reflect, I listen to “Wanted Forever” by Papa Don Romantiko, and I find peace in the homilies of Father Ciano Ubod. These simple joys and traditions remind me of what really matters family, faith, and finding happiness in everyday moments. My hobbies aren’t just pastimes; they’re a way to feel grounded and connected. They help me appreciate life’s small blessings and keep me inspired every day.

School has been a big part of my life and honestly, it’s been a journey full of both proud moments and learning curves. From kinder up to college, I’ve been a consistent honor student, and I take pride in that. The only time I didn’t make it to the honors list was in Grade 11, and while it stung a little, it taught me a lot about bouncing back and staying focused. I started my early years at Simeon Ripdos Elementary School, where everything felt new and exciting. Then I moved on to Lamesa National High School for junior high, where I slowly began to understand the kind of student and person I wanted to be. For senior high, I studied at St. Francis Academy, and that chapter came with more challenges and growth. Now, I’m in college (2022–2025), still pushing forward, still learning, and still holding on to the dreams I’ve been working toward since I was little. Being an honor student isn’t just about grades for me it’s about showing up, staying consistent, and doing my best even when it’s hard. Every stage of my education has shaped me, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

I was born in Lamesa, Balamban, Cebu, but I was raised in Luca for the first three years of my life. When I turned three, my family moved back to Lamesa for good and it’s been home ever since. Growing up in this simple, peaceful place has shaped so much of who I am today. Life here may not be fast-paced, but it’s full of warmth and heart. I’ve spent countless days bonding with my cousins running around, playing games, sharing stories, and making memories I’ll carry forever. We didn’t need anything fancy just each other, and maybe a few snacks from the sari-sari store. The quiet nights, the fresh air, and the comfort of knowing your neighbors made it feel like one big family. I’ve always admired how people here look out for one another without hesitation. Living in Lamesa taught me to value the simple joys, the strength of community, and the importance of strong family bonds. No matter where life takes me, this place will always be my heart’s home.

I’m a simple girl who finds joy in the little things. I have a strong faith in God, and that keeps me grounded no matter what life throws my way. People often say I’m funny I love making others laugh and bringing good vibes wherever I go. I may not always be the loudest in the room, but I’m someone who observes, listens, and cares deeply. I value honesty, kindness, and staying true to myself. I believe that being genuine matters more than trying to impress others. I enjoy quiet moments, deep conversations, and spending time with the people who matter most. Life isn’t always perfect, but I try to face it with a smile and a hopeful heart. I’m always growing, learning, and trying to be a better version of myself. At the end of the day, I just want to live simply, love deeply, and walk through life with purpose and faith.
