After reading the link, I understand a booklet to be a compact, thin publication typically made with a paper cover. Unlike a full-length book, which is longer and more in-depth, a booklet is designed to be concise and easily readable. Its structure makes it ideal for summarizing information or guiding readers through specific topics in a more streamlined way. A booklet’s main purpose is to present key points, whether for instructions, a process, or a brief overview, making it practical for projects like my own, where I need to document and highlight processes efficiently.

Avenir is a geometric sans-serif typeface designed by Adrian Frutiger in 1987^[1]and released in 1988 by Linotype GmbH.

Initially when I was choosing a font I choose a serif (Bodoni) but then I felt like I needed something modern and matches the layout that I had so later on in the project I tried alot of font and choose the avenir font.

First sketches - no visual plan

here it was my first thumbnails were I didnt print out the ideas I had a was stuck and didnt know what my visual direction is and how to make all pages connected

sketching the ideas out of my mind into paper was helpful were above I re sketched what I all ready did in first paper but refined and different to explore diffrent portions and arrangements

this is another moment were I got stuck like all my ideas are on the table I finished I added P1 , P2, P3, Intro, Design pages, ending pages and still the pages were extra I had like 7 more pages to fill so here I did the circle thing above and decided to have more pages for each project and add process pages and hopefully it would fit

after I printed them out and saw the colors I thought the nature aethtic that I was going for was not a good idea so I looked further into the main colors I had displayed and saw alot of gray and reds so here I thought I will go with metallic silver and Burgundy red and look for inspiration and found alot.

after printing my pages out it was easier for me to see through my booklet and and spot mistakes and fixing some places as you see my notes in black all changed

printed in a printing shop and it was wrong didnt notice in the shop and had to go back to uni the submition day and work from 9:00 until 5:30

after printing out the work which will be below I saw that all my scanned documents color is too bright and unclear so I edit them all out to make them more pigmented I Wouk say .

I redid it and made it only the head and varied between fonts sizes and arranged them in way that they go out of my head

process of choosing a waving hand

editing the hand for the back cover but ended up using a skeleton hand to resemble that the hand is torn out and had enough by the end of the book

after the help of professor the problem got fixed and it would print normal

with the draft I had I tried to stitch them at home and saw that white strings is best and better and doesn't show and it had to be a thiner string

Then at uni when cutting I used a thin 100 gsm paper that was bad and cut off when cutting so I changed to 160 gsm for papers

when I printed the cover my friend told me that what is this you miss spelled Wrong wrong and then I fixed it and reprinted but practiced the cover and how to do it

Made sure the covers align well and white ends with white

after long hours of staying up I finished the document part and now to the printing part
