My birthday is November 24 and I was born in 2001! Fun fact, 2001 was the year of the snake! I was born in Richmond, Virginia and I am an only child. My parents moved around a lot until I came along, my dad's job at Walmart took them all over the country. My arrival brought them back home to Rogers, Arkansas where my dad still works for Walmart and my mother is now a retired English Professor.

My parents and I are very close, and though I am an only child, we still have a huge family! I have 11 aunts and uncles just on my moms side, and 25 cousins... family gatherings are always loud and never boring!

I began dancing when I was three years old and at five I joined a new studio, All That Dance. I danced there for fifteen years and competed for thirteen! My teammates and teachers are my second family. Dance taught me many great lessons and gave me the greatest friend group. The seven of us met in preschool and are rounding on 20 years of friendship! Many of us are now dance teachers, and I am now the Director of my own studio.

I have three Shih Tzus, and one who's crossed the rainbow bridge. We got 'mom' and 'dad' when I was in third grade and by the end of the year had two little surprises! As an only child, I spent a lot of time with my dogs and they are so special to me!

high school

I attended Rogers High School. I graduated in 2020, though we did not get a ceremony because of Covid-19. I was on the sideline and competition cheer team, the track team, and the competition dance team. I was captain or co-captain of the cheer team all four years, we won titles at state and national competitions, I was an All-American cheerleader for four years, and an All-Star my senior year. Our dance team held two state titles, and our track team won indoor state three years in a row! I was also a member of the National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and I graduated with a 4.3 gpa.

I am now attending the University of Arkansas and I am currently a junior. Though I love math, I am majoring in English Education. I may shift my focus or add a minor to keep math a part of my life! I hope to be an English or math teacher in grades 9-12, and would love to be a teacher in my hometown.
