I grabbed some seat coverings in the lounge in front of the Chapel and put them together, creating what looks like a doorway to something outside. In order to get this visual, I lowered down my phone to the ground behind the coverings and took my shots. This is Formal Balance because the two coverings are balanced with each other, they both look like they have the same weight and appear stable together.

I did the same with the formal balance except this time I put a fake plant in the view, making it the centerfold of the photograph. I also backed my phone away from the coverings in order to capture the plant in the frame, getting more lighting in the photo. The plant is asymmetrical in the frame, greatly contrasting with the coverings in the background, making this an Informal Balance photo.
