I have lived in the communities of Gardner, Olathe, Lansing and Lawrence. I'm a non-traditional student that took almost 10 years off before going to college. In that time I served as a public safety professional in both the public and private sectors. I am married and just celebrated 2 years with my amazing wife Abbey. I am working full time, going to school full time, serve as on the board of a non-profit and serve in a couple of areas in my church, so it is always a crazy busy schedule for me.

The picture is of my wife and I when we visited the Grand Canyon a few weeks ago. We went when it was insane temps of like 130 for them as well. I guess we brought those back to KS with us sadly. We love to travel. In August we went from Kansas City to Scottsdale to Detroit in the matter of like 2 weeks to take a vacation and see family. We try to take a big family trip with my in-laws once a year, a big family trip with my family once a year, a trip with my wife's college friends once a year and then just a trip for us. When I do have some time to myself I love to get out and ride with public safety agencies to see where their issues are and provide unique solutions through various providers in solving those needs. I also love to play games such as puzzles, cards, board, PC. Though my default is usually board as my wife and I get a new one for our birthdays and Christmas from friends and family. I love to go to the range and keep up my marksmanship. I am thinking of getting into competitive shooting once my calendar frees up a little bit more. Other than that I love to cook and will definitely make a big mess trying something new but it is always worth it when you try the finished item. I although against better judgement have signed up for a full student course load these past 3 semesters I have been able to keep up commitments pretty well and earn the President's list the past 2. Only 3 that are left are Washington State, Hawaii, and Alaska. Hoping to fulfill those last 3 by 2025. On top of that I am the person with the most random factoids ever. Actually last Christmas we were playing a game at my in-laws house and they challenged an answer in a categories type of game when it was relating to conspiracies. My wife challenged their challenge and after a like 5 min discussion they awarded us points. I am routinely told by family and friends that I should go on game shows as I would take home the win. When we have team building trivia events everyone wants to be on my team as they know they have a great chance at winning.
