Leave me alone! 😂
While watching the video, I was reminded of the importance of being intentional with our students, and just taking a few moments out of the day to lift up a student who has made our day brighter. It is something that takes less than 5 minutes and can turn the day around for both student and teacher. Awesome stuff, Desire! - Lindsey Balkcom

Wow, very powerful reminder of how kids just need for someone to believe in them! We are so lucky to be able to do this each and every day in our profession. We can make an impact on a child's life each time we respond to them. Just think of the positive impact we have!! Great video Desire, thanks for sharing :)

I'm crying! That was so powerful. Those students will never forget those words their teacher spoke to them and how they felt that day! It's important to verbalize the good things you see in other people and students.

I couldn't help but think....what if we spoke this life into at least one person we meet each and everyday? I believe that people who embody hope can effect positive change in our students and in our world citizens one person at a time. I also couldn't help but think that sometimes our most difficult students are the most in need of hope and belief. With a few words, we have the power to crush or to uplift, to raise the bar or to lower it, and to inspire confidence or induce despair. May we choose wisely with each interaction.
Stacey Kennon

I absolutely love this! Our words and actions are powerful. Students need to see that we believe in them because it helps them believe in themselves. Our children learn everything from the adults around them. They can learn to believe in theirselves through our eyes and words. Sometimes it's the only positive interactions they will have.
